Dr Andrius Balnionis
MB.BS (Melb), DipRACOG, DOM, MBA

Dr. Balnionis is the Principal of Paramount Medical Clinic. He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1986, and his postgraduate qualifications include Diploma of Obstetrics, Diploma of Occupational Medicine, and an MBA.

He has extensive overseas experience, initially with MSF in the Vietnamese refugee camps in Hong Kong, and then as working as medical director and practicing clinician with Dr Vio & Partners, one of the largest medical groups in Hong Kong for 13 years. He cared for both local and expatriate patients, and worked with many major corporations in providing health services to their employees.

He is experienced in caring for patients from diverse backgrounds, including non-English speakers. He is experienced in managing the whole range of general practice healthcare issues, and has a wide range of professional interests including paediatrics, women’s health, skin care, psychological care, travel medicine, occupational health and preventative healthcare.

Dr Sue Cox
MB. ChB. FRACGP MRCGP(uk), MRCP(u=UK). DFFP

Dr Cox graduated from Bristol Medical School in the UK in 1984.

She has worked in expedition medicine and extensively in General Practice both in the UK and Australia for over 20 years with a broad range of experience.

Her special interests are in student healthcare, women’s health, contraception, sexual health, internal medicine and minor surgery.

She has 4 young children and is consulting part-time.

When not at work she tries to jeep fit and loves nothing better than curling up with a good book.

Dr Elizabeth McKenzie

Dr McKenzie graduated from the Melbourne University School of Medicine in 1987 and has a postgraduate Diploma of Obstetrics.

She has many years of General Practice experience, with special interests in women’s health, including contraception and menopause, sexual health, paediatrics and psychological health.

She worked overseas for 12 years, in the UK and Hong Kong, caring for both local and expatriate families from a wide range of backgrounds. She has 3 children and is consulting part-time.

Mr Brian Lee
Senior Physiotherapist – B.Physiotherapy (UniMelb)

Brian graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2004 and has since worked in various healthcare settings, where he gained extensive experience in managing acute, chronic, and complex conditions.

Brian brings wealth of knowledge into workplace / sports, spinal, musculoskeletal and post-operative physiotherapy. He is also an experienced dry needling practitioner- western medicine style of acupuncture, and has completed several professional courses over the years, including hydrotherapy, clinical pilate, McKenzie method and pain management, to ensure best care practice for his patients.

His special interests are in the field of workplace / sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and particularly, diagnosis and treatment on chronic and complex conditions.

Ms-Taeko-Sakurai

Ms. Taeko Sakurai
MAPS B.A (Pyscology ) Gra. Dip. Sci (Psycology) M. Psycology (Couselling)

Ms Taeko Sakurai is a registered psychologist. With a post graduate degree from the University of Sydney and a degree from Swinburne University of Technology, she has been counselling a wide cross-section of the community both overseas and domestically for over 10 years.
 
 Taeko was born in Japan, has been living in Melbourne since 1984. She is a native Japanese speaker with fluent English.

She has also completed the Relationships Australia Specialist Course in Couple Therapy, trained for CBT, EMDR and Focusing. She also has extensive experience dealing with international students and EAP (Employee Assistance Program). Her special interests are in cultural adjustment, stress management using mindfulness techniques and relationship counselling.

She lives with her husband, children, and two cats. Taeko loves yoga and meditation, and is also very active physically by going to the gym almost every day.
